This is a list of what to eat and what not eat when trying to eliminate yeast and several major allergens. I received a similar list from Dr. Morton Teich, an environmental allergist years ago. It was a simple way to move my kids to a healthier way of eating. Dr. Teich’s old school yeast free list is something I go back to and recommend regularly so I created my own list that is gluten free and includes eggs. There are other ways to eliminate yeast, but I find this WHAT NOT TO EAT…WHAT TO EAT list the simplest way to begin making changes. The Specific Carbohydrate Diet is a more intense yeast free protocol that is also worth trying.
Symptoms of yeast overgrowth are gas, bloating, constipation or diarrhea, hyperactivity, inattention, yeast infections, and irritability.
