After researching the SIGG bottles, the aluminum factor is concerning. I would recommend stainless steel.

thanks for your comment…i love the SIGG water bottles. I had never heard of them before, probably because most of my research is on nutrition and i have been busy in the kitchen for the last ten months. but, i am going to order them.i do have a little concern over the secrecy of the resin lining and the aluminum factor. i was also interested in buying some small wooden bowls and cups so if anyone sees any let me know. i think the wood are the best daily in house option for now.

hello there,
i relate to your toxin-free resolution.
even though i have no kiddies to keep toxin free there is always me! i just switched over to a SIGG water bottle and i love it. it really is light weight and perfect for travel.
basically it is designed for water or juices, not hot stuff (the make a thermos for that ). so...i feel like i 'm saving our planet a little and saving on overpaying for plastic bottles of water too!
as you prolly kow they make kid sized decorated bottles too ...maybe that would give you a non reactive container for drinks that won't splinter if it falls to the floor (inevitably)
