Crumbs Bake Shop announced that it is opening a dedicated gluten free and peanut free bakery in October, 2013 in Greenwich Village at 37 East 8th Street between University and Broadway. When the Crumbs opens it doors, gluten free and peanut free kids (and adults!) will be able to buy assorted cupcakes and baked goods and not have to worry about cross contamination.

I know a few gluten free kids who have been waiting their whole lives to try a Crumbs cupcake. I am just crossing my fingers that they have a gluten free and dairy free cupcake at some point.
